What Does Treatment Involve?

On the Initial consultation you will be asked to attend for 1 ½ hours and will be asked questions about yourself and your medical history, and full details of your current presenting symptoms. This will be used to make a diagnosis for treatment. Subsequent treatments will last up to an hour.

On each treatment you will have your pulse taken and tongue observed, as these are good diagnostic tools in Chinese medicine helping to assess a person's health.

Once a diagnosis has been made, treatment will begin by introducing needles into chosen points, helping to rebalance the body and its energy.

The needles used are stainless steel, pre-sterilised, single use, and are much thinner than those used to give injections.
